Information
Piel de Serpiente is an exhibition born from shared conversations about ways of moving forward and reinventing ourselves, as well as our relationships, after the pandemic. It presents a diversity of narratives and experiences explored through the works on display. Piel de Serpiente constitutes a framework for transformation, a fluid territory that seeks to challenge normative artistic and curatorial practices, guided by the questions raised in each of the works.
Through sculpture, site-specific installation, performance, and humor, Piel de Serpiente constructs a curatorial narrative that interrogates not only the dynamics of human relationships under tension, but also the connections and entanglements within the realms of vulnerability and representation that artists face.
Persona Curada is an experimental, non-profit curatorial project founded by curator Noelia Portela, aimed at promoting Latin American contemporary art (through exhibitions, cultural exchanges, and transdisciplinary collaboration) in close dialogue with the French art scene. Persona Curada collaborates with artists and art professionals from Latin America who are currently based and working in Europe. The project proposes new, nomadic modes of exhibition-making and dissemination through its core program of exhibitions and public events (occasional and short-term).
