“There is no inside except as a folding of the outside. The mirror cracks: I am the other and I always was.”
—Mark Fisher, The Weird and the Eerie

G. Küng is an artist based in New York City. She makes conceptual installations with images, drawing, text and sculpture. Each body of work invites viewers to trace connections among distinct elements—some cryptic, others revealing—describing how relationships, whether personal or among groups, seed our participation in social reproduction and the cycles of history. Both materially as on the symbolic plane, fragility and boldness are often entwined.

Recent exhibitions include Car Rubbings on Red at le vite, Milan (IT), and Agila at Kantine, Brussels (BE). Mean Brain presents a new series of work by Georgia Küng, at the invitation of artist Pierre Allain.
